Valtakunnallisesti haettavana on 800 väitöskirjatutkijan paikkaa lippulaiva-aloille ja 200 paikkaa muille aloille. Haun päätöksiä odotellaan tammi-helmikuussa 2024. Helsingin yliopiston vetämistä hankkeista kaksi kohdistuu lippulaiva-aloille ja neljä muille aloille.
