Impact Task Climate Law focuses on the implementation of the 2015 Paris Agreement through national, EU, and transnational climate law. Key research and impact areas include climate justice and human rights, governance and litigation, just transition, UN negotiations, EU climate law, carbon markets, climate-trade law intersections, corporate climate law, climate and air quality integration including short-lived climate pollutants, adaptation, gender issues, forests, and theoretical frameworks in climate law.
Our work consists of multifaceted teaching, high-quality research and social impact. Our activities are highly policy-relevant, and we collaborate with governments, civil society and international organisations. PI Climate Law also engages in interdisciplinary collaboration, having experience in recent and on-going joint research projects with climate scientists, social scientists and economists.
