Prof. Aijun Ding, School of Atmospheric Sciences at Nanjing University received the S. Zilitinkevich Memorial Award 2024 at the 2024 Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Sociaty (EMS) in Barcelona on 4th September. CLC:n neuvottelukunnan puheenjohtaja Henrink Ehnrooth ja pääomasijoittaja Ilkka Kivimäki vierailivat SMEAR asemalla, Hyytiälässä, keskiviikkona 11.syyskuuta. Markku Kulmala, Tuukka Petäjä ja Pauliina Schiestl-Aalto esittelivät SMEAR aseman toimintaa. Vierailun aikana keskusteltiin SMEAR mittauskonseptin kaupallistamisesta. Keskusteluissa mukana olivat myös ACCC työelämäprofessori Anneli Pauli, politiikka-asiantuntija Sami Paatero ja ACCC vaikuttavuusohjelman johtaja Hanna Lappalainen.
