Sodankyl\u00e4n T\u00e4htel\u00e4ss\u00e4 kes\u00e4n (kes\u00e4-elokuu) 2024 keskil\u00e4mp\u00f6tila oli 15,9\u00b0C, joka oli edellist\u00e4 enn\u00e4tyst\u00e4 (vuodelta 1937) 0,4\u00b0C korkeampi. Kahteen eri menetelm\u00e4\u00e4n perustuvat vuosirengasrekonstruktiot osoittavat, ett\u00e4 kes\u00e4n 2024 keskil\u00e4mp\u00f6tila oli alueella korkein jopa viimeisten kahden vuosituhannen aikana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tutkimuksessa arvioitiin my\u00f6s ilmastonmuutoksen vaikutusta \u00e4\u00e4rimm\u00e4iseen kes\u00e4\u00e4n k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 CMIP6-ilmastomalliaineistoa. Tulosten mukaan ilmastonmuutos teki kes\u00e4n 2024 keskil\u00e4mp\u00f6tilasta noin 100 kertaa (5\u201395 % vaihteluv\u00e4li 19\u2013881) todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isemm\u00e4n ja nosti l\u00e4mp\u00f6tilaa arviolta 2,1\u00b0C (1,4\u20132,8\u00b0C) verrattuna tilanteeseen, jossa ilmastonmuutosta ei olisi ollut. Harmaa k\u00e4yr\u00e4 kuvaa rekonstruoidun keskil\u00e4mp\u00f6tilan vaihtelua yksitt\u00e4isin\u00e4 vuosina ja paksu musta k\u00e4yr\u00e4 30 vuoden liukuvaa keskiarvoa. Punainen k\u00e4yr\u00e4 kuvaa havaittua keskil\u00e4mp\u00f6tilaa vuosina 1901\u20132025.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 kes\u00e4ilmasto Pohjois-Fennoskandiassa on siirtym\u00e4ss\u00e4 ulos luonnollisen vaihtelun rajojen sis\u00e4lt\u00e4.
