ISSN: 2298-2418<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Looking Ahead: AASCO-2 Project&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AASCO-2 project will continue through 2025, culminating in a major event in Monaco in February. This gathering will focus on consolidating research efforts and advancing coordinated solutions to Arctic environmental challenges. Specific goals include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthening collaboration among research communities focused on Arctic climate feedbacks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributing to the ICARP IV Arctic Research Planning processes (<a href=\"https:\/\/icarp.iasc.info\/engagement\/research-priority-teams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">details here<\/a>) and the preparing for the 5th International Polar Year (2032\u201333).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting initiatives such as SAON-ROADS, PACES (Air Pollution in the Arctic: Climate, Environment and Societies), and the Climate Interventions project (<a href=\"https:\/\/climateinterventions.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">climateinterventions.org<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will in deliver science-driven messages to Arctic policymakers and funding bodies, including the EU\u2019s 9th Framework Programme for R&amp;D (2021\u20132027) and its successor.
