University of Helsinki and Atmosphere and Climate Competence Center (ACCC<\/a>) will have an honor to host professor Ottmar Edenhofer, Director and Chief Economist of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research<\/a> and Chair, The European Scientific Advisory Board on Climate Change<\/a> on January 17th, 2024 in Tiedekulma, Helsinki at 17.00-19.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Ottmar Edenhofer, will give a presentation on \u201cScientific advice for the determination of an EU-wide 2040 climate target and a greenhouse gas budget for 2030\u20132050. After the presentation we will have a panel discussion on \u201c How to accelerate climate actions via focused basic research, green financing and climate policies that encourage new investments? \u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
