Verification of carbon neutrality and compensation of emissions for different private companies
Main goal during the flagship program 2021-2024 is to build concrete compensation projects with scientific impact verification. The need for new standards will be explored and preparative work of defining new standards will be started according to the latest scientific protocols and working methods.
This Impact Project is actively looking for different stakeholders to cooperate in concrete carbon neutrality projects. These stakeholders can be companies searching ways to compensate emissions, organisations offering their land/forest for compensation purposes, or different authorities responsible for legal/policy action or other partners having climate impact interests in their action.
In this Impact Project we will cooperate closely with our audit sector partners who will in their role evaluate projects and add credibility to our independent and impartial verification activity
